Is it possible to post a photo of a leaf?

Hi Rogue luck, Sounds like it could be honeydew - modified dripping sap, from chewing/sucking insects. Those, er, probably aren't seeds. See what they look like with a magnifiing glass, and let us know. Are the leaves starting to discolor?

While you are thinking about what to do, you might try putting white vinegar and water in an old window cleaner bottle, ~1/4 vinegar. Spraying this stuff is great, and very useful against many insects and fungi. If it's mealy bug, see if you can get a scented geranium to scare off the bugs. Set the pots by each other, and some leaves between the straps. This stuff really works, but if you want to do something stronger, wait a little and put it outside.

When the weather gets in the 60s at night, you could leave it outside, under full, leafy, shade. If you put the pot on it's side, that will help keep the rain out of the leaves and help keep the roots from getting too much water. Ours have really loved this. They get the dew, and very little rain. No outdoor bugs climbed on, but mealies on one and root mealies on the other, in another town, were gone by the end of the summer. For the mealied one. I added Neem Oil, in the fertilizer water, after it had been out for a couple of weeks. Good Luck, florey
