Last year, I saw those big fat buds and did the same thing as you, (about 6 cuttings in a pot) and all but one rooted. Not sure when I repotted them, but they all did fine. I over wintered them in my shed. Just checked them out today, they look good. Good luck.

thanks for the quick (& positive) response .. just curious, why didn't you plant them in the ground in the fall?

Hi phyl I could have planted them, they were fair size. But I couldn't decide where to put them. This spring I will probably make room for a couple and give the rest away. I hope to take some more cuttings.
