being that it's spring, i wanted to see if anyone tried rooting their cuttings in water / water-and-bubbler system over the winter, and what your results were.

as for me, my nelly mosers which i water rooted and potted up last fall are beginning to fatten up their buds ready for a spring burst. i also put some purpurea plena elegans cuttings in water but got lazy in the winter and didn't use bubbler system just changed water every couple weeks, only 1 rooted but i'm not surprised - cuttings were from a young plant and were left outside overnight (DH accidentally mowed my PPE down and then "accidentally" didn't tell me until the next day).

anyone have stories to tell yet?
