This is one of the wild occurring or species type Clivia. It can be found growing on rocks in leaf litter and occasionally in the crevice of a tree where organic matter has collected. This clivia will produce pendant or drooping tubular flowers. The stalk or trunk is what distinguishes this species from the rest.
