The shipping seems high but I doubt the amount was an error. Call and ask and cancel at the same time if you need to.

I've gotten good quality clematis from them, but I am in the same state as Chalk Hill, not on the opposite side of the country...they must charge by UPS zone, and that adds up when you are far away...

I love Chalk Hill's clematis. They come in extra-deep pots perhaps 12-14" deep, but rather narrow (5"?), so you get a great root system. Their medium seems to include clay or bits of it, which makes it heavy. But they're totally worth it.

If you can find the types you want elsewhere and are concerned about the cost, I'd just cancel the order and order at Brushwood, Silver Star or Joy Creek (pricey here, too, but great), but you certainly won't be disappointed in what you get from Chalk Hill.
