Last year my in ground Satsuma dropped all but a few as well. Two things happened. One, we were in a severe drought and the second, it bloomed just as a cool snap set in for the week, so no bees during full bloom.

This year, a ton of blooms.

I have a potted satsuma that had a ton of blossoms and it produced a lot of little satsuma. I was pretty good about giving the limbs a little shake each day to help with pollination (since I have no bees inside).

My in ground satsuma is covered in blooms this year and I have not noticed any blossom drop. It has been well watered and the bees are already out. I am in Little Rock and we get the same weather pattern as you.

Have you ever fertilized it in the past?

Have you checked for spider mites? Look closely with a magnifying glass under the leaves closet to your buds. I mean watch closely, like stare at one spot for at least a minute for any tiny minute movement.

I fertilize my Satsuma every year.
I will check for spider mites but I have not seen any in the yard or on the plants.

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but unless you use a magnifying glass, you will not see them at all, eating away at the end of your buds.

This is the only time I loose all mine. I would not assume you don't have any because you don't see them with the naked eye.
