Transplanted Rooguchi looking sad

We had to transplant Rooguchi today because it was engulfing a rose next to it. I cut it back in late Winter and it grew so fast that it got up to about 5 feet before we had time to move it.

After we transplanted, it looked very limp so I put 2 umbrellas over it to block the sun for a day or two. Is this "normal" to look so limp after being transplanted?
