Some of the integrifolias are about ready to burst out of their buds and with the warm weather the next couple of days, I am sure that will help matters along.

Petit Faucon is always a pleaser with its almost nonstop blooms from April until August and sometimes into September.

And not exactly an integrifolia but this picture shows how trimming back Proteus and Piilu to within inches of the ground in winter allows the plants to come back quite nicely with buds already forming.

Moral of the story is don't be afraid to prune back your type IIs. They can grow quite nicely being treated as type IIIs.
