It's beautiful!

Organic_kitten, I bought a Marie Louise last year (from either Home Depot or Lowes) and it didn't do much last year - a few blooms - but this year it's growing like gangbusters. Lots of buds, no blooms yet, but I can't wait!

Imagine that! I come from the daylily forum because I want to buy a clematis and I find you here!

I saw Marie Louise Jensen at Lowe's for $17 and since I didn't know a thing about clematis, decided to look up some info before buying. Of course, the GardenWeb is a great source of info, but it was still a surprise to see that you have MLJ.

Would you recommend it? I want to take out the light pink hibiscus in this picture and put the clematis there so it can vine over the arbor.

Since I don't know anything about clematis, I would welcome any recommendations of another type of clematis. Preferably one that might bloom more than one season, but I really don't want white.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
