I have Lemon Chiffon, it's very windy here today but I will try to take a photo. I also have Multi Blue but I don't have a photo of it and it isn't blooming right now. Love both of them. FS is reported to be difficult to grow but I just plopped mine in the ground and it took off. I've had no difficulty with it at all. Maybe another clone of FS would do better for you. Bareroots can be difficult to establish sometimes, try a potted one.

I planted a multi-blue in 3-4 hours sunlight and it's been fine. I've transplanted it twice and hacked it in half by mistake. It bloomed twice last year and so far a gorgeous bloom this year. I have it planted with Edith. She comes out first and as the white die out, there is a week or two of overlap with multi-blue. I love the flower.

Multi-Blue has been very easy for me.

Florida sieboldii has been limping along even though I started with a nice gallon.

Growing clematis in less sun in our intense Texas Sun is advised...especially for the doubles and pruning group 2's ..The viticellas can stand alot more sun...Clematis "Florida Sieboldii" adores living in Texas..I think it was your Bare root that was the problem..not the variety itself...Bare roots are a pain in the you know what and take alot of time and care to flourish...too much wasted time for me..I want year 3 yesterday on all my plants..LOL...Can't wait for them to grow up and flourish from a bare root...Jeanne
