Hello: I purchased a clematis last year called Ramona. It was already growing up a very small trellis in a pot, so I planted it with the trellis. It did great and ended up blooming good with about 4 blooms on it. But this year, I would like to put an obelisk around it but not sure how to get the clematis to grow up it, do I tie it? My clematis is just coming up this year and want to get the obelisk around it soon. Are obelisk's used for clematis? I know this clematis grows to only 10-12 feet, so thought it would look quite good growing up and around the obelisk. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
