I have what is supposed to be the clematis in question. It is a nice one with no major problems but it has not been the most floriferous one in my garden. It could be just a matter of time until it gets better established and then it could be more floriferous. You know how any clematis can be--not a great flowerer in one garden but a fabulous one in someone else's so I would buy it if it a good looking plant and at a reasonable price.

Miquel is correct...I've had clematis "Mme. Edouard Andre' " in my gardens for two years and she is a pruning group 3 and very happy in my full sun location..she really did pretty good for year two, full of blooms..I have her with my climbing rosa "Devonisis" in a raised pot on my Gazebo...she get's hard pruned again after her first bloom period is over and I can get 2-3 cycles from her with my long growing season...Jeanne
