My neighbor has a really huge clematis montana that I want to propagate from cuttings. I know how to do this from a technical standpoint, but I don't know about timing or whether that matters. It's still mild here in the Seattle area with daytime temps in the 60s. Her clematis is in full bloom and will be for several months. Does it matter if I take the cuttings now, or should I wait for some reason? I have a greenhouse I can tend the cuttings in if needed.
