I've read about the "new" Patio Clematis varieties that

grow approx. 3-4 ft. Heigh. It states you can also plant them in your flower bed and let them trail. My question is: Is this type (Bourbon, Picardy, Versailles, & Cezanne) considered a Perennial in Zone 6 (Pa.)? In otherwords, can I leave it in the grown to return as the larger vine Clematis? Please advise, since I would like to purchase them as soon as possible.
