Hi, I hope you can help. I just planted a 24 foot bed with 5 knockout roses alternating double pink with blushing (DP-Bl-DP-Bl-DP... so there are 4 'spaces' between the shrubs).

I plan to to put one trellis with blue clematis in each space between adjacent bushes. I'm confused by all the clematis varieties and look for recommendations.

I know Etoille voilette is well regarded and Jackmanii seems everywhere. Can you offer me a compare and contrast of these or other blues?

number of blooms? length of bloom? what''s it look like in mid summer after initial bloom? general robustness?

Should I use all the same kind in this bed, or...?

Sorry for all the questions, pics on web always look nice but its helpful to get advice from folk who have grown and seen different types!
