Recent thread about white Clematis

I would recommend Candida langulosa it is gorgeous. i have two of them. They just had a huge flush of blooms. I also would recommend for a double variety Duchess Of Edinburgh. I had one at another house, and it was beautiful. I plan on getting another soon.

I would strongly recommend Huldine, but next to not on a rose. I think it is much too vigorous for that combination. I grow it next to Rosarium Uetersen but not on it.

Another great feature is the long stems, 12 inches or so, which make it great for bouquets.
It does love the sun. I planted it on the south side of the garden fence facing the yard, but get most blooms on the garden side (north) because that is where the first morning sun shine on it. so, now I just enjoy it when I am gardening.
