Hi
I am very excited about this blue clematis I found
http://www.raymondevisonclematis.com/main/product.asp?productId=43
I wanted a clematis to grow up along the metal support of my small front porch. The front door faces roughly NNW
The plant is sitting on the east side of the steps, where its roots are always shaded. The actual vine grows up and around toward the west, as intended.
I recently lost a tree in the front yard and am still unsure of the amount of light that'll happen there at the height of summer, but at this point, the clematis vines will have full sun probably from around 2-3 pm onward.
Is that enough for this clematis? The tag indicates that it can take some partial shade.
