There was a feature in today's N&O about a couple here in Raleigh who seem to have, accidentally, lucked onto the perfect place and are enjoying copious crops from their trees. Maybe, perhaps, they'd be willing to share knowledge or, better yet, cuttings. Just a thought ....

I've gotten six from Finch...they're great. Actually, I get them through my local 4H Club sale each spring...so it's win-win! =)

I bought 3 (different varieties) from Nelson's on NC-55 & US-17 in Bridgeton. I'm very pleased with them.

I vote for Finch's. I have been there, but my original six bushes came by mail. They are now about 18 years old and still producing more than we can eat. Make sure you buy several varieties. I have three different kinds, and they ripen at slightly different times. So, if we don't have a drought and they turn into raisins, I have blueberries almost the entire summer.

Don't forget to order some bluebird houses from Finch's. They are a great addition to any property. Oh, our local 4-H has used Finch's also.

Thanks all for the responses. I'm in West End, NC-- 15 miles west of Pinehurst in the Sandhills. Any recommendations on what varieties to plant. I know I need at least two.
