yellow leaves update, no aphids now what?

I just went out and checked the leaves for aphids or other pests, none.

So it appears to be a nutritional deficiency. How can I figure out what it is? Do I just try something and see if it works, if it doesn't work try something else? I'm not crazy about that approach, but I'm really new to all this.

I'm attaching a link to my first post with photos of the yellow leaves.

Here is a link that might be useful: yellow clematis leaves
