it has never wilted for me. vigorous and floriferous.
my arabella doesn't twine.

You could plant it in your perennial border and let it grow through your flowers and shrubs.

I grow Arabella through a dwarf Nine Bark called "Summer Wine". Rooguchi grows on a trellis next to the Nine Bark and climbs through it as well. I've never had wilt on Arabella or Rooguchi.

I grow mine next to peonies so she can give them a little color after they're done blooming.

Why not consider growing her on a retaining wall or in a large pot so the stems can cascade down the sides of the wall or pot? I am trying this with an Arabella in a pot with Viennetta and Mary Rose.

I don't think any of the integrifolias wilt but in my garden all of them mildewed last year.

I have Arabella between two Pieris but she really wants to sprawl on the ground.

Rooguchi got mildew for a few years until I found something to prevent it. One year when Rooguchi got it really bad, Arabella planted right next to it also got mildew. Other than that none of the other integrifolia or integrifolia hybrids in my garden have ever gotten mildew--knock on wood!

Thanks folks for your replies. They are very helpful. My first thought was to plant near my peonies so guess that's what I will do. Peonies are just gorgeous when in bloom but the bloom period is so short I think this will look good.Nice to know also about chance of wilt.
