How large is the light pink one you want to pair it with?

Jackmanii is a very vigorous, prolific purple bloomer, that does just great in my zone 5 yard. The only problem is that it grows huge. Last summer, mine hit about 12 feet tall, and that was only its 2nd full year in the ground. It would easily engulf and swallow a smaller, less vigorous vine. But when it comes to a purple clematis, it's hard to beat, imho.
