I'm a long time lurker, but I just wanted to pop in to say that I'm really excited for my 3rd year clems! They aren't even at my house (they are my mother's)!!! I've been helping her with her gardens these last few years since she doesn't have a lot of time to get them ready in the spring. Yesterday I went over there and cleaned out the 2 beds she has and the clems look like they are going to be FABULOUS this year.

She has Polish Spirit (3rd year, was in one of those tiny 4" pots when I bought it for her) and Blue Angel (was a monster from a local greenhouse....almost pot-bound!) in one bed, and 2 mystery clematises (clemati?) in the other. We *think* they are Dr Ruppel and Ernest Markham, but they were horribly neglected their first few years and I'm surprised they made it this far!
