Tangled Clematis - will it recover?

I have two Clematis vines in my front garden. One is doing GREAT! The other....not so much. =/ It was a tangled mess. I finally got the poor thing untangled today, but am wondering. A good amount of the ends has turned brown and dried out. Should I leave it this way, will it come back? ....Or, snip th ends?

I'm not really experienced with Clematis... As you can probably tell. =)

If you see some ends that browned out..you must have broken those vines...go down those affected vines from the end until you find some green healthy leaves and prune...they will be just fine...Jeanne
