I would suggest Cezanne for the mailbox. It is very compact and a good bloomer. Lovely color too.

I have Blue Light or is it Crystal Fountain, I can't remember but it is tiny from a bareroot and I can't comment on it's garden performance.

I have Blue Light. It was purchased during the clematis purchasing frenzy I was in when I first really got into clematis. I haven't really ever had any issues with it over the years I have had it. I think the flower heads are very unusual once the sepals fall off (seen in 3rd picture).
