My husband dug a hole in my garden(he was digging a post hole for a new arbor)and accidentally dug through the roots of my clematis(it's been there for at least 10 years)he also stepped on the clematis and broke it off.I need to know waht I can do to "fix it".should I try and dig it up and place it in a pot until the new arbor I ordered arrives or leave it and hope for the best?Someone please help me.I really love this clematis.my mom gave it to me for mothers day a long time ago.
