When did you receive them, how did they look when you got them, and when did you pot them up?

The species texensis is a warm weather loving plant and is slow to emerge in colder zones but that shouldn't be an issue in your zone 9. Any hybrids from the species might be similar but again, that should not be an issue in your zone. All the texensis hybrids in my zone 7 garden are up and growing. Perhaps pulling mulch back to see if you see any growth might be considered. Hopefully they survived and you haven't overwatered them and caused issues with root rot.
