Climatis suggestions please

I am looking for suggestions for a climatis that will have morning sun only, but it will be hot because it will be against a brick wall. I would like to trellis it to help soften up the vast expanse of brick wall. The bricks are a mix, but mostly the reddish color. Thank you!

Kathy I have Julia Correvon and Purpurea Plena Elegans planted on a trellis on an easterly facing brick wall and don't have any issue with it doing well. That directional location should be in shade by 1pm or so, at least mine is, by the time the summer sun becomes much of an issue. I also have a Sputnik clematis that I planted last fall growing directly on the wall on wire that is doing well.

Miguel, that is beautiful. Who is the purple and what is he growing on? I love the blue trellis and the blue front door!

Kathy, if I were you I would blatantly copy Miguel.
