Winter/ Spring blooming Clematis for Container?

Hello, noob here so be gentle if I'm asking crazy questions :) I'd like a clematis that flowers in early spring (From end of Feb onwards) or a winter flowering clematis to grow in a container by my front door. I've two others planted that get going from April and continue through the summer, and just wanted something to brighten up the very grey winters (if possible!).

I was thinking of some of the armanndi's, but a snoop on her seems to suggest that they get to big.

I'm in Ireland, so it gets very chilly in the winters, but the wall I want to grow on is quite sheltered.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks!
