Every year, my Henryii's display is ruined by something chomping holes in the petals. This is the only clematis I have with this problem. The flowers are well away from the ground, & I don't see any bugs crawling on them. The leaves aren't damaged. Who's the culprit? What can I do to prevent the damage? It is planted on an East wall.
