Dwarf Ruby Red - Help!

For the second year in a row,my dwarf ruby red grapefruit tree, which has southerly exposure the entire day and is watered thrice a week on my lawn water system, displayed prominent blossoms, then beginning of grapefruits (micro-green dollops coming out of center of bud) in mid_april for about 3 weeks. Now it is mid-may and nearly every fruit is gone, along with the buds. I have no idea what is going on. I use plenty of citrus food at base, which is also surrounded by nasteriums to counteract any pests. Leaves are a dullish green throughout, with some yellowing, but not too much. Leaves at top are mottled and display some darkish stains. Tree gets plenty of sun. I also trimmed any suckers at the hybrid line several years ago. What is so frustrating is 3 years ago, before these last two DOA yields, the tree bore more than 50 gorgeous ruby red grapefruits. welcome any advice or suggestions.
