I love it! I looked it up and it does say it should bloom the first year from seed. Guess my garden just isn't up to par. I'll look for it next year. Theresa.

wow - that is a pretty little flower. I need to get in with the seed swap this year. I just can't believe all the neat stuff out there that y'all have. I am still marveling over the plants I got from the plant swap.

If they don't bloom this year they will next. I think I've got more seed out there. I'll try to remember to add them to the box this year again. I love them and the seed heads are pretty too! Looks like a big blackberry. They do great winter sowing too.

I used to have some blackberry lilies and they didn't prove to be long-lived -- maybe they were too wet during the winter. They do tend to seed themselves in though -- they're a naturalized wildflower in the East.
