Personally, I wouldn't. And I probably couldn't either. My clemmies are not very vigorous yet. I must say I think that display is gaudy but to each his own.

Wow. I agree, I would not and I do think it looks fake. Maybe it would not seem so odd if we saw more of the yard? Against the green conifer and grey buildings it is sooooooo loud.

I would....but it wouldn't look like that....because I think that is photoshopped!
But I might consider a more tasteful mix... and perhaps just 2....maybe 3..
But I wouldn't choose cultivars that look like a cheap curtain print.

This is what they say about it.

A beautiful mixture of the sorts: Nelly Moser, multi Blue (filled flowering), Jackmanii and Ville de Lyon. Not one climber flowers as intensively as the Clematis. The multicolored colored blooms give bald walls, fences and Pergolen a color-glad appearance.

Would I plant four on one post--without a doubt but the color combination would be very different from that one.

They've got 2 pruning group 2's and 2 pruning group 3's:
Nelly Moser, Multi Blue (gefüllt blühend), Jackmanii und Ville de Lyon. that should be a Riot when prune time comes!!..I like gaudy and big..LOL...but count me in with Miguel..I would cram 4 on a post in a heart beat..but I would chose different colours too!!

The picture is a collage of different Clematis pictures. Colors have been photoshopped also.
I also love combos of many Clematis planted together, but that picture looks really awkward.
