i Altho one or two blooms a year come semi-double, the usual flower is single about as wide as my handspan, around 8 inches.The tepals have a rather thick substance. She is a type 2, and I did a little cutting back of the old growth after she bloomed.

A few years ago she climbed to the top of an old Lilac clump, about 15 feet. But the branch she grabbed to begin the climb, at about 7 feet, got broken, so for the last 2 years I had been concentrating on having her grow lower & thicker. There will be a lot more, higher & thicker this year. Tons of fat buds on her now.

She is one of my oldest, maybe about 7 or 8 years old, and one of the reasons I am so nuts about clems.

I have come to like the GB blooms a little more. The lavender petal edges fade quick but it adds something while there. Didn't think I would like it when we first got GB. 8 years later.... she is my favorite. Henryi was my favorite for a long time.

I JUST potted Henryi and Will Goodwin in seperate pots close together in my deck. Each is 1.5 ft . Planning to cover with peat moss too.

Other than water , can I feed them now. I only have M.gro granules , can I use it? Thanks!--Kris s.e.PA
