I think all the Lowes around here have those same clematis and they are all mislabeled the same way. They look a lot like the Miniseelik I bought last year. I'd get another if I didn't already have two.

but that has to be confusing. Here is the code for your image so it will show up in your post instead of using the link method. That works, too, but sometimes people don't want to bother with it. It will only work on that one photo. When you start posting more photos, only the characters between the quotes will be different, you will get it.

Last year I saw an entire table of Clematis at Lowe's marked Miniseelik but they were Piilu.

Thanks, cnetter. I think you've nailed it. Very helpful to know what I have! I planted her this afternoon, to complement my Niobe and Henryi. Her roots weren't too impressive, so I think I'm going to have to grit my teeth and prune her, flowers and all, as soon as I can stand it.

I just got back from Lowes where I saw a lot of Miniseeliks. I can't wait until all the buds on mine open up.

Among all the Miniseeliks, there was another little clematis with the distinctive ruffled petals and deep pink bar. OOoh, it was Piilu! I snatched it up.

There were quite a few Ruutels there in bloom. They were very tempting.
