Blue Light Clematis

Hi all, I've come here to see all of your beautiful clematis and finally have one of mine that seems to be doing well this year. I don't have a clue what type this is so any help will be appreciated. Do I cut it back and when?

Wish I had more time to come here to play but one day I'll retire and hopefully spend time here everyday. I hope all of you know how much I marvel at your beautiful clematis.

I love to see yours if anyone has this same one. This is the name the tag has so if it's not correct, sorry.

The tag is correct, that is Blue Light. It is a type II light prune.

Mine is several years old and I wish it looked as well as yours!!!!!!!!!!! That is beautiful!
In fact, in this heat mine has all brown leaves. Hope it survives even with us watering!

Thanks buyorsell for letting me know the tag is correct and it's a type II.

Gayle, sorry to hear your having all the heat and we're getting all the rain this year. We have had more than usual with very little sun so I'm sure that's why my plant looks like this. Thanks for your comment.

Jeanne, thank you so much and I'd love to hear about how to feed it with tea if you have time.

I have tried to grow clematis for years and they just don't seem to make it more than 5 years. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
