CnB's...I have a Sprinkler System but it doesn't go to the new gardens I created where MOST of my Clematis are but..I do have a soaker hose back there..but nothing pleases me more than to stand out early in the morning and water them myself, enjoying watching the hummingbirds and my Purple Martins singing to me and flying above my head!!...the finger test always lets me know it's time, which in the heat of summer can be every other day...I am also getting ready to convert one of my unused Sprinkler heads into a 6 section drip system for the new Potted Clematis I will be growing on my new Pergola...Jeanne

yea the best time of the day is the early morning when everything is fresh.I should get a drip line for some of mine.I know some times I just want to sleep in but I know my clematis must have thier water and work starts at 7 am so I gotta move it.
