It has been a slow grower for me and has a rather thin long stem with a tiny bud that seems to have been there for weeks. There is a shorter stem too.

If mine turns out like his, I may move it, as it is planted next to Minister, which is a light purple also.

I still like the color. Definitely not a full intensity color but reminds me of Blekitny Aniol which I also like. Don't be surprised if it doesn't bloom for the length of period specified. I have yet to see any clematis bloom the length of time that they say! Clematis generally have one major bloom flush and then they might put out occasional flowers throughout the season. This one might respond to cutting back and reblooming after the main flush but don't expect continuous bloom on it.

Mike has rethought his opinion on Chatsworth now that the weather has warmed up for him. The central bar coloration has become more pronounced for him since his original post.

I don't get how that happened either with the same date but different times. Deja-vu for sure!
