No, it doesn't look like my Jackmanii. Mine has white anthers and stamens. Yours has red. I am not sure what it is. Does it bloom on old wood? If so it's a LF type 2 hybrid, which one I don't know.

It does bloom on old wood. I recall the tag saying it would grow about 20 feet (which it most certainly does) but for the life of me I cannot recall the name. I was almost positive it was in the Jackmanii family. My DH "accidentally" tossed out my tags a few years back so I have been slowly trying to ID certain plants. :::sigh:::

I might be Mr. President. It is a dark velvet purple with red anthers. Mine is still a baby and despite its size, it had 5 blooms.
