Clematis Ernest Markham?

Hi,

I purchased this clematis earlier this spring. The tag said Clematis Ernest Markham but the color is more of a purple.

Can someone ID it?

Maybe Etoile Violet, it doesn't look like Ernest Markham.

It doesn't look like my Etoile Violette either.

Looks like Niobe to me.

It looks just like my Niobe.

Could be Niobe that has faded out from its original darker shade that the flower has on opening.
