10-2 sun too much for Elsa?

I have a spot for a clematis against the (brick) house on a wooden trellis. Eastern side of the house with full sun from 10-2. Would that be too much sun for Elsa Spath? She doesn't seem to like too much sun or maybe doesn't like the container I am holding her in.

If that is too much sun I also have a clematis Princess Diana on deck but the the trellis is only 6 feet and I believe PD is an 8-9 foot clematis.

My Elsa is in full sun and just loves it. It blooms like crazy. The pot you have it in my be drying out and causing it to look bad. I think as long as it gets enough water, full sun is fine. It may need more than 4 hours of sun to bloom well. I think most need 6 hours of sun to bloom well.

You are right, the pot is probably drying out. My Elsa tag says part sun. Your climate may be more favorable as well without really high temps that we get here.
