I have used Neem oil on my citrus, if you don't see any more bugs I would do it once a week for two weeks for preventative measures. Then every 14 days or so after. I emailed the company last year after using it a few weeks because I also added dish soap to the mix. I wanted to ask them if this was recommended? The response I got from them was to use it all by itself. They said do not add anything else to their product. It works better if nothing else is added to it. I'm sure it doesn't hurt it, but maybe the effectiveness is diluted? So now I just use Neem by itself and I don't add anything else to it. As far as your question goes if your plant is already acclimated to full sun, I would wait till the plant is completely dry before putting back in the sun. But since you are getting 100 degree weather, I would only give it morning sun for a couple of days after treatment. Just so you know the brand name of the one I use is "GREEN LIGHT" Neem Concentrate
(Lowe's) and they were the ones I emailed and asked about adding dish soap to it.

It is recommended to use Neem Oil at half strength .
Next time purchase Ultra Fine oil .
Spray once a month - year round .
When in doubt , don't spray .
Oil sprays are not preventative .
They only kill on contact .
Still- highly effective and safe .

I dilute 100% Neem into water (1tsp per quart) to control leaf miner, and use it constantly -- spraying in the evening whenever there's a growth flush. I disagree with the company that says that the product works fine by itself. You must add dish soap because the oil will float to the surface in the spray bottle, and not be evenly dispersed throughout the mixture. Even with the addition of the dish soap, I'm still constantly agitating the bottle as I spray to maintain the mix.
