I'm going to guess that the first one is Duchess of Edinburgh, but the second one is Ville de Lyon.

Ville de Lyon is definately correct.

Thanks for the response leading to the clematis web pages which helped me identify this as Artic Queen. I now recollect seeing that tag on it when purchased.
