I got 17 from Koi a few weeks ago. All came in good shape, with most having roots coming out the bottom of the small pots. Had to cut away the pots to get the plants out to plant in gallon pots for the Winter.

A few of the type 2s wilted down within a few days, but look like they will reemerge with new shoots, at least I hope so. And suposedly they guarantee 2 years (if they are still in business).

Be sure to check out all their clem listings, because some are down to 5.39 or so. And combined shipping is really good at 50 cents per additional plant.

Back in April I was anxious to get a new clem season going so I ordered some from a different vendor. Between being very small to start with and the super wet & snowy Spring, they wilted in a few days & never came back. Checked later & roots all rotten.

Yes, Koigarden is the site I ordered from, I just can't resist the sale and I'm now up to my 11th Clematis from them and still have my eye on a couple more. The ones that I have purchased are in really good condition.

With the weather we've been having here in New England the past few years, I really think that fall is the best time to plant your Clematis, the falls weather has been great, the Spring weather has been horrible, way too much rain and cold weather. Hopefully the Clems you planted last Spring will come back next year.

I decided to order a few from Koi also. A couple of months ago I ordered a hosta from them and was very pleased...it was a good size and healthy. It says their plants are guaranteed...send them back dead or alive if you don't like them. I need to stick with type 3's but it is hard to resist ordering the type 2's. I'd love to try the type 2 Blue Ravine.
