I was told that after planting Clemantis the root should be deeply watered with a wand. Every other day my sprinkler is turned on. Every other day the wand waters just the center of the plant to get to the root. How long should I do this? Any input will be appreciated.

Your clematis wants to have its roots stay moist..but not Sitting in water and soggy..make sure you are not overwatering it...otherwise it will be just fine..Jeanne

Thanks Jeanne.
Dallas has received heavy rainfall so I have not watered the roots.
