I like their plants a lot, and their replacement policy is good. You can always check out Garden Watchdog to investigate companies.

They provide excellent service. I just received three plants:

Teshio
Marie Boiselot (sp?)
Crispa

The plants were well packed and healthy. And if you have questions they do a good job getting back to you. I particularly like their site with pictures/descriptions. I have ordered more than a dozen plants from them over the past 10 years.

I have purchased from all of the ones listed above and while they are great plants, Silver Star Vinery tops them all. They have clematis in 1 gallon pots, beautiful, full root systems with multiple stems instead of the one or two coming out of the soil you will find in everyone else's. I have had as many as 6 stems, these are by far the best clematis I have ever bought. The shipping is reasonable and you have an instant clematis vine. The first year mine grew 4 to 7 feet on 6 plants and flowered twice and I am in a short growing season, zone 4. Truly amazing, I was shocked when I recieved my first order from Debbie.
