Here's a new site to give you sources, pictures, and a bit of information on Clematis species native to the southeastern United States.

The individual species are listed on the right. You can click on the species, then click on pictures to enlarge them.

At some point in the future, I will have a list of gardens where the species can be seen. There are a couple in PA, one in DE, one in VA. If you know of other gardens , please post about it.

There will also be cultural information forthcoming.

Please let me know if you know of other sources, or if you see anything incorrect on the pages. After years of looking all over for pictures , sources, etc, I decided it was time to put it on one web site. Native Clematis are wonderful plants. Many people contributed photos to complete the collection.
