Likely normal for this time of year. They are deciduous.

Unless they are in pots with no drainage or the worst clay soil imaginable they can't be over watered.

I concur..mine start getting yucky looking as winter starts to sit in...you can always stick your finger in the soil to see if they are moist and make sure you aren't overwatering them as they like moist but not soggy soil!!...Mine are blooming right now but my Floridas are starting to yellow up a bit around the edges..pretty normal for them at this time of the year...Jeanne
