That possibly could be a problem.. but make sure you aren't giving it too high a nitrogen fertilizer as well before moving it..I have some in part shade and in my hot zone they do best....you said it just leafed out?...How big did it get?...Do you know which one you have??..Jeanne

Knowing the specific cultivar would help determine if sun or lack thereof is the culprit or if it is one of the other factors Jeanne listed. Also knowing how the plant was treated (pruned or not), fertilized and with what, and how big the plant was when you purchased it would also help.
