I have an unknown large flowering maroon one blooming now. This is the first year for it to bloom; second year in my garden..
Frost doesn't seem to bother the clematis-- all had green leaves before I cut them back for the winter. Did not cut this one back as wanted to see it's bloom.

I have a few flowers on my Jackmanii and John Paul II. We haven't had a killing frost yet although it is supposed to get into the 20's at night this week, so that will be the end of the clematis until March for me. I was so impressed with my John Paul II. It had flowers on it from May until November. I have never had a type 2 clematis in bloom that long. It is a keeper!

Ramona and Venosa violacea are blooming and think there are others but I know those two off the top of my head.

My Henryii is still blooming. Well was, I don't think the flowers will make it much longer with 18degree nights.

It's been a long fall here this year. I had some small rebloom on Mme Julia Correvon in mid November. This was the third bloom on it. The snow and temps in the low 20s this weekend pretty much did it in, but I pointed it out to all the guests on Thanksgiving Day.

My Warsaw Nike is still blooming! We've even had traces of snow here.
