Is it global warming, el nino, or what? It's been so warm here. I hadn't noticed until I walked around my yard today to see....that my blue belle has grown two 6 feet shoots and put out new buds for a flush of blooms... due around christmas! huh?

i know this may happen late in the season in california, but in new jersey?? is my clemmie confused? any one else in the northeast experiencing this as well..?

not sure what to do either.. leave it until the next hard frost nips it, or prune it now (thinking that's a bad idea..)?
